Q. Is my personal use restricted?
A. As an owner you have the final say on when your yacht is chartered, although if a charter is booked and paid for a specific date we ask that you honour the arrangement. Lostris Sailing will inform you of any booking beforehand and in good time, all bookings and income will be displayed under your specific Owners Login area.

Q. How well will my yacht be looked after?
A. Your yacht will be kept in a clean and ready state, full of fuel, gas and water. The handover procedures will be strictly adhered to and the charterer will be required to have signed an itemised inventory prior to release of your vessel, the handback checks will be thorough and comprehensive and will also include a full inventory check . Should negligent damage or loss occur this will be reported to you immediately and reparations put in hand, no deposit will be returned until repairs or replacements have been carried out to full satisfaction.

Q. What cost must be met by me?
A. Consideration should be given to the costs of yacht charter insurance, berthing fees, any MCA coding cost, and standard maintenance. In addition the yacht management fee is taken from the charter income before the balance is transferred into your account. You should also consider the anticipated normal wear & tear.

Q. Does the company own their own yacht?
A. The company owns the DS43 featured, our fleet provides complimentary yachts that will be chartered on a rotational basis, unless the client specifically asks for your yacht by name.
